The Santander program will provide you with a life-changing and unforgettable experience!
The program is designed to give you the opportunity to improve and practice the Spanish language intensively while immersing yourself in the Spanish culture. You will also learn a lot about the cultures of Spain by exploring many interesting and fun topics in class, traveling to different areas of the country and, most importantly, by living with a local host family and making local friends.
The program will provide many field trips and activities such as shows, movies, sampling local food, adventures in nature, guided city tours, visits to museums, palaces, castles, cathedrals and more.
The program's home base is the city of Santander. It is located in northern Spain touching the Cantabrian sea and overlooking the mountains. Santander is considered one of the most beautiful bays in the world with very pleasant temperatures all year round.
It is a modern and safe city with excellent public transportation. It is close to other sites of great historical and cultural importance such as the Altamira and Soplao caves among many.
