SPN 303 (Conversation)

Prerequisite: SPN 202 or 215 with a C or higher by the end of the Spring semester or appropriate placement.

This course is an intensive training in spoken Spanish. It will help you build confidence in the target language and speak more fluently.
We will focus on topics related to Spanish culture and study local colloquialisms that will help you feel more at ease while traveling in Spain and staying with a host family.

The course uses the textbook "Revistas" by Vista Higher Learning.
At the end of the course, you will feel confident carrying out practical tasks and speaking to your host family members and other Spaniards.
The course will be conducted in Spanish. Although SPN 303 is not a grammar course, students will practice and polish their ability to narrate and use all major time frames with accuracy (present, past, future, conditional and subjunctive).

SPN 303 counts towards a major or minor in Spanish.
